Missing Dog Cheeko

Missing a dog who’s tan and white with a red collar that has playing cards on it. He is a boxer and american bulldog mix .. He has been missing since Monday around 11am from Scotch Hill/Second Division Road area. He has blue eyes and answers to the name Cheeko. Aberdeen Hospital Professional Centre demolition

The Aberdeen Hospital Professional Centre stood for 53 years and has been a landmark, standing as one of the largest buildings in New Glasgow. The building is being demolished to make way for renovations while former operations have been relocated down the road to the former NSLC building beside the Aberdeen Mall. Well I just wanted to let you know that while living back in NS the past 2 years now, I have found that most of the people here have a strong bond when it comes to any Illness or loss of a home, etc. I have lived in a city where fundraisers or benefits were far and between. Here it seems when people are down on luck or what have you, everyone steps up volunteers and gives whatever it takes to try and help out. The line-up at Wal-Mart in New Glasgow: A modest, but brave 26 or so stood in the line to enter Wal-Mart at around 6:50am.

Next to Christmas, Boxing Day sales are probably the most anticipated event of the Holiday season (in your face New Years Eve!). Unfortunately for me, I was one of the crazies in line bright and early this morning at 4am to partake in the amazing deals at one of the hot spots in New Glasgow.
