About NGTalks

What are we?

New Glasgow Talks (or NGTalks if you prefer) is a website for everyone in New Glasgow and Pictou County, Nova Scotia that covers everything New Glasgow and Pictou County related.

NGTalks aims to be an accessible, yet informative and useful tool for community members by providing original articles, weather, contests, local photography, ways for you to interact (including a message board, community photos section) and much more!

Who are we?

Regular contributors to this website include Andrea from “Andrea Fuller Photography”. Andrea posts regular photos from around the county in a feature called “Pictou County is beautiful”. Joy is our newest member who will be using her journalism experience to help keep you informed with articles covering a wide range of topics. As well, of course there is me, Kris, the guy who owns and operates NGTalks.

How can you keep up to date?

Set “http://ngtalks.com” as your homepage so that you will always be informed about what is new and exciting in the area. If you wish to receive updates via email, please also subscribe!

    how does “admin” decide what to write about?

      The number one criteria for posts is that they have to be Pictou County related. Charities have a high priority on New Glasgow Talks, but the website is also about informing people of things around the town they might not know about. I am also ‘always’ open to suggestions, so if you have an article suggestion you are more than welcome to send it to me through the “Submit Comments or Feedback” button on the right.
